About The Author
I am originally from Manila, Philippines, but I now live in the wonderful city of Berkeley in California. As an English and Rhetoric double major at one of the most stressful but amazing colleges in the nation, I place great importance on the value of a healthy lifestyle. I’ve spent countless of times trying out new ways that can lower my stress levels. However, I realized that some stress is good for the mind and body, as long as it aids in motivation and does not cause overwhelming tension. I worked as a reporter for my college newspaper and was dubbed “most overwhelmed by the newsroom on a daily basis.” So, I’m here to write for the lovely ladies out there who are physically, mentally and emotionally stressed. My advice would be to take one thing at a time and trust yourselves. Some other tidbits about myself: I would like to attend graduate school for English or Rhetoric in order to become a university professor at some point in my life – but I’m not in a rush! My favorite books are Mrs. Dalloway, Invisible Man and other works from the mid-19th through the 20th century.
